TidM – the MX-5 meet in the middle
23–25 July 2027
2027 – not a comeback, but a revival. After an eight-year break, the “Treffen in der Mitte” brings a big MX-5 weekend back to the Weserpark in Hann. Münden – to a place that was one of the best-known meeting points of the German MX-5 scene for many years.
What awaits you is a weekend full of roadsters, a relaxed atmosphere and shared experiences between a half-timbered town, the Weserbergland and plenty of winding roads. The revival deliberately combines the character of the original TidM with modern ideas and everything we learned at the EIN-MX5-EVENT – today, with more than 650 cars, the largest MX-5 event in Germany.
If you know the old TidM, you will recognise a lot: the closeness among everyone, the easy-going mood and the feeling of a meet right in the middle of Germany. At the same time, this is not an attempt to simply copy the past. What is taking shape is a modern revival that keeps what worked and brings in new ideas.
And even if you have never been to the original TidM or the EIN-MX5-EVENT, a weekend built around our shared passion for the Mazda MX-5 awaits you – with drives, good company, special cars and a setting that feels made for a roadster weekend.

Experience Hann. Münden
Spend a relaxed weekend in Hann. Münden and soak up the atmosphere of a historic half-timbered town where three rivers meet. Where the Werra and the Fulda join and become the Weser, one of Germany's prettiest half-timbered towns awaits you, with more than 700 lovingly restored timber-framed houses and an old town like no other.
Explore the winding lanes of the historic centre and enjoy the mix of medieval architecture, small cafés and lively squares right by the water. The riverside promenades along the Werra, Fulda and Weser in particular invite you to discover the town at an easy pace and take in the views of the historic bridges and half-timbered houses.
One special highlight is the Weserstein monument where the rivers meet – one of the best-known spots in town and a favourite with visitors and photographers alike. The many small streets, squares and timbered façades make Hann. Münden a place with something to discover around every corner.
The area around the town also offers plenty of winding roads and striking scenery between the Weserbergland, the Reinhardswald and the Kaufunger Wald. Enjoy a weekend full of relaxed drives, historic backdrops and special moments in a town that feels made for a roadster weekend.
